Meet Me
Hi! I'm Jenna! I am a mom, wife, friend, lover of yoga, reading, sunsets and the beach! I get to enjoy all of the things I love so much more now that alcohol is not in the picture. Life is bittersweet. We only get one and I am finally figuring out how to truly love it and savor each moment. Read on to learn a little more about me.
My alcohol story begins at age 13. I am now 43. That is THIRTY years, three decades of alcohol use! My poor brain. My poor body. My poor soul. I wish it hadn't taken me so long to finally quit but I've given myself grace and compassion and have come to feel at peace about my drinking history. Don't get me wrong, I still cringe when I think about some of the stuff I've done while drunk, and my sobriety journey has been anything but perfect, but I am here. I am sober. And I am still moving forward. Still growing, still learning.
